Here is what our very first Echo Australis attendees have told us…
I would wish to convey my appreciation for Echo Australis 2013. It was a privilege to attend this informative meeting and the quality of teaching was fantastic. As a cardiology registrar; the contents of this meeting were pitched very well and the interactive sessions were good as well. In fact; looking retrospectively I have gained much more from this meeting than any other echo meeting in Australia (having attended two other echo meetings)
This is a wonderful initiative and I would wish to help as much as I can in carrying forward this over the coming years. I would be happy to take leave for a period of time and help organise next years meeting
I just wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for the recent Echo Australis weekend that I had the fortune of attending. The program was relevant, comprehensive and appropriate to all levels of trainees. Moreover, the quality of teaching provided by Tom and Sudhir was phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactive format of the sessions and felt that such a platform lent itself to a greater degree of information retention.
Congratulations on a very successful inaugural Echo Australis!
I just wanted to say thank-you so much for the time and effort that you put into Echo Australis. It was such a well run course and I think all participants learnt a lot regardless of prior knowledge and experience. The interactive nature of the course and the timing of the sessions kept me interested and prevented information overload.
Logical and interactive structure provided practical frameworks to commonly faced problems in clinical interpretation of echocardiography.
A very enjoyable weekend of teaching and learning.
Thank you for organising the Echo Australis meeting. It was a fantastic echo learning and teaching experience. It was interactive and clinically based, and introduced me to some advanced concepts in echo as well.
I thought it was a terrific program. Just realised how much more there is to learn.
